Our outdoor window screens can come with either manual or motorised operation facilities so you can choose the most convenient method for your home.

Given the outdoor conditions Vertiscreen’s are subjected to, Yarra Shade use either Planosol or a shade fabric called Atmosphere, as they are renowed for the durability and weather resistance. Both of these fabrics keep Australia’s damaging UV rays out, giving you a cool inside space.

How to choose your fabric

The key difference between Vistaweave and acrylic canvas when choosing your Vertiscreen fabric is Vistaweave retains an element of transparency. If you are wanting to achieve shade protection on your windows without losing the view of your outdoor surroundings our Vistaweave fabric is the option you’re after. However, if you prefer not to have visibility on your outdoor surroundings the acrylic canvas we use provides you with that benefit.

Fabric control

Depending on where you require your outdoor window screen the fabric can be applied in side channels or via a stainless steel wire guide on each side. The aluminium used in the structure of our Vertiscreens is all powder coated to ensure it withstands the weather conditions its exposed to and lasts the duration of the outdoor screens lifespan of 15 years.

Note: However, if you select the motorised method of operation the motor and switches will be included in your quoted price, but you will be invoiced separately by our electrician for the electrical work involved in installing the motor.

Warranty

Yarra Shade incorporates:

• a 3 year warranty on installation
• a 1 year warranty on hardware
• a 4 year warranty on the Vertiscreen’s Motor if you select a motorised screen.
• a 5 year warranty against fabric deterioration

Please note that Yarra Shade Co warranties do not cover wind and weather damage.
