Clear and tinted PVC Blinds or Atmosphere fabric blinds are ideally suited to an outdoor Café blind style. They can be operated by a crank handle with the fabric mounted to a roller to keep it tight and clean. The clear PVC we use for outdoor blinds can either be clear or tinted and is 1mm thick. You may decide to opt for the Atmosphere fabric depending on what aesthetic look you are trying to achieve. Make sure you read more on the benefits of each fabric and choose the right option for what your home or business needs.
We also offer outdoor channel blinds, which are similar to the clear PVC blinds mentioned above; however there is a channel on either side of the blind. The channels are made from powder coated extruded aluminum and there can be a pelmet covering the roller at the top. The key benefit of channel blinds is they largely prevent the air movement that would otherwise occur through the gap between normal outdoor blinds. Channel blinds ensure a near completely sealed off environment from the outdoor weather.
Yarra Shade’s outdoor blinds are ideal for both residential and commercial verandas, patios, decks and other outdoor entertainment areas. They are perfect for cafes, as they retain an ambient atmosphere in outdoor areas in the case of unplanned and uncomfortable weather conditions.
Bear in mind that our outdoor blinds can be fitted to wooden, steel and brick structures, however we are unable to attach outdoor blinds to HEBEL or sandstone structures.
Note: The key difference between outdoor PVC blinds and outdoor Vistaweave blinds is transparency. PVC blinds give clear transparency, which may be of importance to you if you want to bring the outside in by providing full view of the outdoors. While Vistaweave is transparent to a degree it is not completely clear and see through.
There are a wide range of colour options for the trim around the clear PVC blinds and the Vistaweave outdoor blinds are a fabric and therefore come in a wide range of block colours and patterns for you to choose from.
